Via Classica creates books and resources to support families and schools in the education and formation of young people through the classical tradition.
Our growing collection draws upon Australia's history and heritage and the intellectual, literary and Christian inheritance of Western civilisation. From curriculum materials and classical writing programmes to historical figures and figures from the Christian tradition, our resources seek to bring the people, stories and ideas of the past to life.
Australian Progymnasmata
The Australian Progymnasmata seeks to form students who can think clearly and communicate with wisdom and eloquence in the service of truth, goodness and beauty. Drawing upon the ancient progymnasmata, students are progressively formed in the arts of invention, arrangement and style: learning to discover worthy ideas, order their thoughts well, reason soundly and express themselves with clarity, beauty and persuasion. Through imitation, practice and cumulative mastery, each exercise builds upon those that precede it, drawing particularly upon Australian history, literature and culture.

Australian History
The Australian History series seeks to give students a knowledge and love of Australia’s history and heritage, while helping them understand Australia’s place within the broader inheritance of Western civilisation. Through historical narrative and the careful study of primary sources, students encounter the people, events and ideas that have shaped our nation, learning to examine evidence, make sound judgements and understand the past with wisdom and gratitude.
Historical and Christian Minifigures
Via Classica minifigures are designed to bring the people, events and stories of the past into the hands of children. Created for families and schools, they encourage students to encounter history and the Christian inheritance through storytelling, historical reconstruction and the imaginative re-creation of significant people and events.
The collection encompasses Historical Events & Battles, Australian Figures, and Saints, providing tangible resources through which students can deepen their knowledge of the people and events they encounter in their studies.

Saints Statues
Cultivating Devotion through Sacred Art
Via Classica’s saint statues are created to bring the example and intercession of the saints into the homes and schools of Catholic families. Through sacred art and beauty, they seek to foster devotion, encourage the imitation of virtue, and keep before children the lives of those who faithfully followed Christ.
Designed for the home, classroom and prayer space, each statue seeks to contribute to an environment in which the Catholic Faith is not only taught, but seen, loved and lived.
